As I read Oswalds devotion for today I am encouraged to tell God to speak to me. He says, "Get into the habit of saying Speak Lord. Everytime circumstances press in on you say, Speak Lord and then make time to listen." We got a call from our agency about some kids they have back in Bogota and they will hopefully be getting some more info in the next week and would we be interestead. We said we would be but would like some more info. Meanwhile they are still trying to find out what is going on in the region where our paperwork has been for the last 4 months. We have so many emotions going on right now. We have been feeling that our kids are there in the region of Boyaca but we know nothing, and then this situation comes up and we are not sure what to do yet. We are desperate to know what God wants us to do and that He brings the right children for us into our family. We have so many thoughts about what WE want the kids to be, but want to know what GOD has for us and that we are open to His plans. We are praying that we hear something soon as we would love to be back from Colombia before May b/c Jim gets extremely busy in the months of May, June and July and would not be able to stay the whole month needed. (He works for a fireworks company). So I am asking and begging God to speak to us and let us know what we are to do. Thank you for your prayers and I have missed praying with my CHI girls on monday nights but for the last 3 weeks I haven't been able to get on for some reason. Anyways, I will continue to keep you updated when we have more news!

Jaime and Jim,
As I read your blog entry I began to hear the song "Word of God Speak" play in my mind, and it's still playing over and over as I lift your family up in prayers. Hey, it's a beautiful song so I don't mind carrying it around all day!
May you find the answers from God as you consider these other children. Keep trust in the Lord for He will guide you along! His plan (and His timing too) is perfect! Please know that our thoughts are with you!

How exciting to be so close! Keep asking God to speak to you - He will! - but you may want to try asking that your ears be opened to what He is trying to say, too. Maybe it's silly but I'm always a little afraid that I will miss what He's trying to say to me...
Having faith in God's timing is so hard sometimes but no matter what we know that He has everything in His hands. When it gets really hard to wait try reading Psalm 27:13-14, maybe that will help?

Pretty soon Jim will have 3 kids to help him set fire to the backyard!!! We need a spectacular fireworks display when they get here. Can't wait to start shopping for them :). Thanks for the update - you know we are praying for you!!!
