May 9th 2008

Well, it was another unproductive day. The kids stayed in the tub again for a long time while Jim worked. I got a lot of one on one with Jaysa Stefani today which was really nice. She is such a cutie! She deffinatly loves attention. We didn't want to go out because we were waiting for a phone call today and didn't want to miss it, but unfortunatly it never came. We have been told that all of our paperwork is ready to go, it just needs the last signiture from the Judge. We are really praying that we get it on Monday.
Tonight we went to El Correl for dinner. It has really good hamburgers and it has a great place for the kids to play. We relaxed for a bit while they played. We came back and just goofed around a bit until we put the kids to bed. The only pic I have to share tonight was when I was playing with Jaysa and she stuck her fingers under the door to try to get to me. It was really cute :)
Hope you all have a great night!

Ola ,Salut Greetings from the banana belt of Canada, sunny, 80F, Essex Couty, LakeShore, Belle River Ontario. Home to cousin Jessica Patricia Makani McGuire...who is able to speak more spanish than our required francais! Joy and Wally, sister and brother in law to Jim and Jamie...and now we welcome the homecoming of the delightful new family members to our extended and extensive family...Jamie, it looks like one of your daughters is going to have lots of fun getting into your make-up and fashions! Jim, your son, in one of your photos is posing in a manner that reminds me so much of a photo we have of you when you were a boy , on a trip to Montreal in the early 1980's! How uncanny! Lovely photos, and wonderful that most of your time in Columbia has been positive. I suppose because of the high elevation that the O2 is not quite as dense as at home...Mexico city is like this a lot! Keep your rest and health going well...and btw you both take turns getting up in the middle of the night! Remember, the disturbed nights will not last forever, and be "blessed" that you do get to experience them! Pretty soon you will be cajoling them to get up out of bed in the am! Welcome to the new world of kids, parenting, and probably no more time for the two of you to actually complete a simple private conversation between the two of you without a cute little voice desiring your attention asap! Enjoy the family hugs and cuddles and laughs! Cheers , Joy,Jessica, and Wally McGuire !
