What a great day!

Ok, so this is Jaime writing now. Wow, 2 posts in one night! We just got back and settled the kids in for the night. Today I have been feeling a little better and decided to take the kids to this awesome place called Divercity. It is a small city for kids where they first go to the bank and cash their check and get a credit card. Then they get to work and do different jobs. They earn money then they also have many other fun things for the kids to spend their money on. I can't even begin to explain how cool this place is. They got to be doctors and EMT's, firefighters, postal workers, pilots, farmers, actors, models, futbol players, librarians, paleontologists, cashiers, artists and construction workers. They also got to work in a coco cola plant and actually make a bottle of coke and at a kelloggs plant and put together a bag of chips. When they worked and got money they could use it to do fun things like ride rapids, rock climb, race cars and more. They had a lot more like being a dentist, vets, working for a paper or radio station, but after 5 hours you just can't do it all. It is also very reasonable. I paid about $20 for both of the kids and me. Adults can't really participate in the activities, but it was so fun to watch most of the stuff the kids got to do. If you want to let the kids go, they have a place for parents to go and can get dunkin doughnuts and use the internet or watch movies. So here are a bunch of pictures!!!

We took our kids to Divercity too when we were in Bogota! It was an amazing time! I wish that they had something similar close to home - what a fun adventure for the kids and parents alike! Looks like your 2 enjoyed it just as much as our 2 did!

Wow....what a place! I'm sure all kids would be in their glory there. Maybe we'll make the trip to Columbia to check it out!
I've been so intrigued with your blogs...way more exciting than the daily news.
Joe's newest pasttime is leaving his wisdom, as I'm sure you've noticed. :)
Praying that you have energy & strength beyond measure.

I wanted to set up a place like this in Canada. Mine was gonna be for toddlers and have paintballing, underwater basketweaving, and indoor skydiving. Had trouble getting approval with the local authorities though.

I guess what I'm starting to wonder is if you have all this cool stuff down there, are you coming back?

What a fantastic idea! Someone needs to start a chain of these here in the states. Thanks for sharing your experiences and photos. The kids are beautiful and we're very happy for the "Boyachek Five". God bless you guys as you wrap things up down there and head home to begin your new life as a family.

What an awesome place! The kids looked perfect in every career but Leidy looked like a star in telescommunications. You may have a future telecaster there! I can't wait to take our kids there; however two may be a little young??? Let me know your thoughts. I'm writing down Divercity as a must see. Be sure to let me know of any others you think we need to add to the list.

Such a cool place! You mean there were no fireworks workers??? How will they ever learn their papa's trade? Looks like they are going to be pretty bored when they get back to AL. Maybe you and Jim could open a place like that in AL...

What an amazing day you all had. It looks like the two of them had a great time and that mommy had a great time watching them. This looks like something that should be opened up here in Hsv area, just think of all the b-day parties that could be hosted there.

I love all reading the blogs and feel like we are there with you.

Hope you are all able to come home soon.
