Great weekend!

Well, my wonderful husband surprised me with a last minute trip to New York this weekend for our 6 yr annivesary! He had a meeting for work and deceided it would be fun to have our last excursion just the 2 of us before kids. It was so much fun! We can't wait to start our next adventure in life with our 3 beautiful kids, but we sure are going to miss all the time we have had just the 2 of us. What a blessing it has been!!

What a great little surprise trip for just the two of you! Happy Anniversary to you! Rick and I just celebrated our 7th Anniversary on April 2nd so we're right there close to each other.

Cherish your time alone now because your lives are about to change. Can't wait to share in your joy as you experience the excitement that comes along with 3 new children!

How awesome that God gave you that last bit of time to enjoy life as two. You will cherish it forever as you will cherish the new memories about to made as a family of 5. Just as few more weeks!!!

Fun! I've never been to NYC - but the next time Robert and I get to have a fun excursion away, maybe we'll be able to head there!
Yes, life does change when the kiddos come home and date nights and weekend excursions are fewer and farther between...but don't lose them altogether...they are important!
